In order to be a foreign missionary, one must know the mystery of the cross. From the mystery of the cross, the missionary must draw the apostolic strength of those generous imitators of Jesus Christ, whose life below was but a continuous martyrdom.

Within a few short years of founding the Congregation, Fr. Basil Moreau, C.S.C., sent his priests, brothers, and sisters out into the world to establish foreign missionaries.
The Holy Cross Mission Center is sponsored by the U.S. Province and supports those locations for which the U.S. Province has direct jurisdiction, but it also supports those areas with which the U.S. Province has a special relationship.
Mission Center
While Holy Cross Mission Center is sponsored by the United States Province, it supports the international mission work of the worldwide efforts of the Congregation of Holy Cross.
Post-Graduate Programs
Learn about Holy Cross post-graduate programs, which provide recent college grads with the opportunity to serve in the Congregation's Overseas Lay Ministry.
