St. André Bessette

It is with great joy that the Congregation of Holy Cross celebrated the Canonization of it's first saint, St. André Bessette on October 17, 2010.
The Feast Day of St. André is celebrated on January 7.
St. André was a humble man who gave his life to the Lord and to the people of God, especially to the sick and afflicted. St. André is the first Holy Cross religious to be canonized a saint.
