A Work by the Late Rev. John S. Dunne, C.S.C., Wins Book of the Year Award

P03141We are proud to announce thatDark Light of Love, by the late Rev. John S. Dunne, C.S.C., has won the Bronze Award in Religion for theINDIEFABBook of the Yearawards. Fr.Dunne a beloved teacher, scholar, priest, and friend passed away Nov. 11, 2013, at the age of 83, and left a number of book manuscripts not yet published.Dark Light of Love, Fr. Dunne’s twenty-third book, is the first volume to be published after his death. The book examines darkness as a metaphor for unknowing and the unknown.Foreword Reviews’Magazine “INDIEFABBook of the Year Awards,” judged by a select group of librarians and booksellers from around the country, were announced on June 26, 2015, at the American Library Association Annual Conference in San Francisco.

Representing hundreds of independent and university presses of all sizes,INDIEFABwinners were selected after months of editorial deliberation with more than 1,500 entries in 63 categories. What sets the awards apart is that final selections are made by working librarians and booksellers, based on their experience with patrons and customers.
