The National Catholic Youth Conference will be taking place this year in Indianapolis, Ind., on November 17-19. The theme for year’s conference is “Called to Glory.” As in past years, members of the Holy Cross Office of Vocations will be participating in NCYC to help the high school students present discern their vocations and thus discover how God is calling them to give him glory.
In addition to Fr. Jim Gallagher, C.S.C., and Fr. Drew Gawrych, C.S.C., who will be there all three days, several Holy Cross seminarians from Moreau Seminary will attend NCYC Friday afternoon to meet and interact with the students.
NCYC is a biennial three-day experience of prayer, community, and faith formation for Catholic teenagers and their adult chaperones. The schedule includes keynote addresses and workshop addressing a wide variety of topics. There are also opportunities for liturgy, reconciliation, prayer and worship, recreation and special activities such as concerts, exhibits, and the interactive thematic park.
