Several speakers, including a King’s junior who volunteered at Holy Cross’ Andre House of Hospitality in Phoenix, offered their experiences and the need to work as a community to solve social justice issues. Andre House ministers to the poor and homeless in Phoenix.

As an educational ministry of the U.S. Province, King’s is committed to community service. Holy Cross founder Blessed Basil Moreau called upon his Community of priests, brothers and sisters to live a life of service to God and to others. “Let us then renew our generosity in his service, and if our work seems hard and difficult, let us remember that, after all, it will last only a short time, whereas its reward will remain forever.,” he said.
