Rev. John F. Dias, C.S.C., is featured in the July 6, 2013, edition of the New Bedford (Mass.) Standard-Times.
Fr. Dias, who lives with the Holy Cross Community in North Dartmouth, Mass., is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Ordination this year. He was unable to attend the Jubilee events in May. The newspaper featured his vocation story and passion for pastoral care, especially for those with AIDS. Fr. Dias served as a chaplain at St. Joseph’s Hospital in South Bend, Ind., Cabrini Medical Center in New York City and at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford. He also did mission work in Chile and was a teacher.
