Stonehill College President Rev. Mark Cregan, C.S.C., will sleep on the streets of New York Thursday in solidarity with homeless children in 14 North American cities.
The Sleep Out is being organized by Covenant House, which will see business leaders in 14 cities brave the cold to raise money for young people in the United States, Canada and Latin America to help get them off the streets.
More on the challenge is available at Covenant’s website. As of Nov. 12, more than$1.3 million had been raised. The goal is $2.5 million.
