Two U.S. Province priests are among those participating in a Lenten lecture series sponsored by the Brothers of Holy Cross (Midwest Province) and Holy Cross Village.
Rev. Peter Rocca, C.S.C., Rector of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, will speak March 13 on “Lent – What’s Old and What’s New.”
Fr. Rocca is the General Editor of Paulist Press Ordo and a Consultant to the Bishops’ Committee on Divine Worship. He has been Rector of the Basilica since 1997.
Rev. Nicholas Ayo, C.S.C., who has taught in the Great Books Program at the University of Notre Dame for more than 25 years, will speak on “Untold Mystery in the Garden of Gethsemani” on March 20. Fr. Ayo also has served as Professor of American Literature at the University of Portland (Portland, Ore.) and Director of Novices for the Congregation.
The events begin at 7 p.m. each Wednesday in Andre Place, Geenen Hall at Holy Cross Village at Notre Dame.
