King’s Student Spearheads Computer Donation

A King’s College student spearheaded the donation of used computers, printers and equipment for a local after-school program and housing development.

The effort by junior Timothy Mike helped replace five, 16-year-old computers at the Mineral Springs Learning Center, where he was volunteering as part of the Scholar in Service program, with newer models and updated software from King’s. Five also went to the Mineral Springs Housing Development. It was more than $3,000 of equipment in all.

King’s College (Wilkes-Barre, Pa.) is an educational apostolate of the United States Province.
