David J. Hartline discussed his new book, “The Catholic Tide Continues to Turn,” at Family Theater Productions’ monthly Prayer and Pasta event on Aug. 15, the Feast of the Assumption of Mary.

A bigger-than-normal crowd turned out to hear Hartline talk about the growth in the Church and why the Catholic Church has become a target of detractors.
Prayer and Pasta is a monthly open house that meets on the third Wednesday of each month for prayer, a meal and a program. More than 9,100 people have participated in the program since it began in 2003.
