Seeing that canonizations do not happen every day, the celebration of Saint André Bessette is continuing, especially in his homeland of Quebec. The local Church and Holy Cross community there are having a special commemorative Mass at the Olympic Stadium on Saturday, October 30th. If you would like to watch the Mass, Salt + Light Television (out of Canada) will be covering it. If you don’t have Salt + Light, you can watch via live streaming on their website. Also, today, Thursday, October 28th, and again on Saturday, October 30th, Salt + Light will be airing a special 30-minute episode of its Catholic Focus program on Saint André, entitled “Remembering Brother André”. It’ll include interviews they did at the University of Portland and the University of Notre Dame. It also gives an overview of the attraction of the Oratory for pilgrims according to the rector, Fr. Claude Grou, C.S.C. That special airs 7:00 and 11:00 pm ET both days on their station or via live streaming.
