Joining in the celebration of his upcoming canonization, the Knights of Columbus put Brother André Bessette on the cover of their September issue of Columbia. The accompany article, which profiles this humble servant of St. Joseph, includes a prophetic quote from an October 1921 piece in the same magazine about a pilgrimage Knights made to the Crypt of St. Joseph earlier that year: “Some day this church on the mountainside, successor to the little wooden oratory of Frère André, will be the glorious basilica of St. Joseph, and the little miracle man of Mount Royal will probably be enshrined as the saint which every soul in Quebec believes him to be.” Indeed, they were right.
