Rev. Gerard J. Olinger, C.S.C., has been appointed Vice President for Student Affairs at the University of Portland, effective January 1, 2012. The appointment was made by University president Rev. E. William Beauchamp, C.S.C.
In his new role, Fr. Olinger will oversee the Offices of Residence Life, Public Safety, Student Activities, Career Services, and International Student Services, as well as the University’s Health Center and Moreau Center for Service and Leadership.
