The University of Portland (Ore.) Summer Conference was featured in Oct. 6 issue of the Catholic Sentinel, a publication of the Archdiocese of Portland.
The 31st Summer Conference – with activities for ages preschool through adult – focused on the liturgy and the 50th anniversary of Vatican II. The conference included Masses, addresses, activities and faith formation classes. Among religious from the Congregation of Holy Cross who participated in the event, Rev. Patrick Hannon, C.S.C., offered a class on the exploration of story as prayer. Fr. Hannon is a lecturer in the English Department at UP.
