Most Memorable Prayer/Liturgy you have Attended: I had a very powerful experience during the Eucharistic procession at the end of Holy Thursday Mass when I was in high school. The mix of candlelight, clouds of incense, and the beautiful music just captured every part of me. It was a liturgy that touched every sense and drew my complete attention to Jesus present with us.

Place of Pilgrimage you Most Want to Visit and Why: I would love to go to Annecy, France, where Francis de Sales lived. He and his spirituality have played such an important role in my spiritual journey that to visit his tomb and pray there would be a meaningful experience.

Favorite Ways to Pray: Lectio Divina, The Way of the Cross from Holy Cross Devotional, and the Chaplet of Seven Sorrows.

What Drew You to Holy Cross: Bl. Basil Moreau’s spirituality of the cross, the charism of hope and
education, and the internationality of Holy Cross are what drew me to the Congregation.

Your Vocation Story: I have always had a feeling that God was calling me to religious life. God led me down a path of gaining a lot of life experience and meeting so many influential people who have help me grow. The most important part of my discernment was living abroad for almost 2-years after college. That is where I had the space and time to finally take the leap of faith and apply to enter formation up returning to the United States. Since then, it has been a journey of opening my heart to God and letting Him work through me to be an instrument of His grace. Bl. Basil Moreau’s spirituality of the cross, the charism of hope and education, and the international character of Holy Cross are what ultimately brought me to this specific religious community.
