Fr. Szakaly To Serve Stonehill Alumni, Students and Staff

Rev. Anthony Szakaly, C.S.C., has been named Stonehill College’s new Alumni Minister.

Fr. Tony also will minister to student athletes and staff. He has been based at Stonehill since July, when he began serving as the local Superior of the Holy Cross Community in Easton, Mass. Fr. Tony also serves on the Board of Fellows and Board of Incorporators at the College. He will split his time between the College’s Alumni Affairs Office and the Athletics Department.

Fr. Tony, former Assistant Provincial and Treasurer of the U.S. Province, was Ordained a priest in April 1992. Born in South Bend, Ind., he earned a bachelor’s, MBA and M. Div. degrees from the University of Notre Dame. He served local parishes in Hayward, Calif., and South Bend. Fr. Tony also is Board Chairman of Ave Maria Press, a publishing ministry of the U.S. Province in Notre Dame, Ind.
