A panel of experts convened by the University of Notre Dame’s Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies will address the Syrian crisis at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 10 (Tuesday) in the Hesburgh Center for International Studies Auditorium.

Panelists will provide context on regional dynamics in the Middle East, explain international legal issues surrounding the use of force and discuss the implications for U.S. and international security.

The discussion, which will be moderated by David Cortright, director of policy studies at the Kroc Institute, is free and open to the public.

The panel features three experts:

Panelists will consider the arguments both for and against military action and leave plenty of time for questions, answers and participation from students, faculty, staff and the community.
