What drew you to Holy Cross? I originally was discerning diocesan priesthood, but after learning about religious life, I was drawn to the Christian fraternity and the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. After exploring many different communities, Holy Cross stood out, primarily due to the wonderful experiences I had with their priests and brothers and the wide variety of ways to serve the Church through education, parish, and mission around the world.
Favorite Scripture Passage: Matthew 16:24-26
Then Jesus told his disciples, “If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what shall a man give in return for his life?
Favorite Spiritual Quote: “You must be a whole saint, or no saint at all.” St. Therese of Lisieux
