Most Memorable Prayer/Liturgy you have Attended: My most memorable liturgy was when my high school had one big Mass in the gymnasium with the middle and elementary schools, totaling about 1,500 people. I had the honor of altar serving alongside many of my close friends with the bishop of our diocese present and about ten priests and decons.

Place of Pilgrimage you Most Want to Visit and why: I would like to visit the Holy Land so I can visualize what it would’ve been like to live when Jesus was on earth. I would like to visit all the famous sites of miracles and the place where Jesus was crucified.

Favorite Way to Pray: the Most Holy Rosary

Favorite Devotion: to Jesus through Mary

What drew you to Holy Cross? I was attracted to the consecrated life in Holy Cross due to the multiple forms of service performed by its members. I love the how Holy Cross priests and brothers are parish priests, teachers, and service missionaries. I also greatly enjoy the community that comes from living in religious life with the Congregation. Finally, I love the University of Notre Dame and all other Holy Cross colleges and universities.

Your Vocation Story: I first noticed my call to the priesthood when I was about 6 years old. As a child, I realized that men can become priests, and that being a priest is a kind of “job” that a man can have. I still remember wanting to be a priest when I grew up. Throughout the rest of my childhood until high school, the call did not increase nor decrease. When I reached high school, my parish received a new pastor, Fr. Christopher Jarvis, who showed me the joy of the priesthood through his words and actions. Fr. Jarvis’s holy example inspired me to take the leap of faith and apply for seminary in the Congregation of Holy Cross.
