This summer, Yancana Huasy, a Holy Cross ministry in Peru that serves children with disabilities and their families, provided specialized care to those unable to receive care in person at Yancana Huasy’s facility.
Throughout June and July, members of the ministry’s Psychology Service traveled to family homes to provide care. Through the Programa de Atención Domiciliaria (Home Care Program), three therapists, with the support of two social workers, provided psychological support and follow-up, reaffirming Yancana Huasy’s commitment to close, inclusive care focused on the needs of each person and their family.
