Holy Cross Identity

Holy Cross Identity

“But we do not grieve as men without hope, for Christ the Lord has risen to die no more. He has taken us into the mystery and the grace of this life that springs up from death. If we, like Him encounter and accept suffering in our discipleship, we will move without awkwardness among others who suffer. We must be men with hope to bring.” — Constitutions of the Congregation of Holy Cross, 8:118

Holy Cross men live and work in a variety of settings, but wherever we go we want to create a Holy Cross family. The members of this family consist of men who've taken their vows with Holy Cross, but we also want the people with whom we live and work to feel included in our community. In order to facilitate the building of these Holy Cross families in our parishes, educational institutions and missions, we've developed different means by which Holy Cross may be recognized.
