The Congregation of Holy Cross has a rich history. Since its founding in 1837 by Blessed Basil Moreau, the priests and brothers of Holy Cross have brought the hope and light of God’s love to people around the globe.
The Holy Cross Mission Center invites all to honor and celebrate significant dates in the Congregation’s history—from the birthdays, death dates, and canonizations of some of its founders and first missionaries, to the anniversaries of the Congregation’s arrival in mission locations and the founding of its ministries.
In order to assist in these remembrances, we are pleased to make available a Google Calendar containing the “Significant Dates for the Congregation of Holy Cross” provided by the General Administration to the HCMC in March of 2025.
