2025 Bengal Bouts President Invites You to Boxing Tournament on March 29th
|
Dear Holy Cross family, My name is Creed Leathers, and I am the president of the University of Notre Dame’s Men’s Boxing Club. For the past 95 years, our club has shed blood and sweat to turn Notre Dame men into Notre Dame boxers who compete for something bigger than themselves: Holy Cross Missions in Bangladesh. The Congregation of Holy Cross first arrived in present-day Bangladesh in 1853, only 16 years after the founding of the Congregation. For 170 years, the priests, brothers, and sisters of Holy Cross have provided educational and health services to millions of Bangladeshis in need. This year, I am writing to invite you to attend one or more of our boxing tournament dates:
Our tournament directly supports the Holy Cross missions in Bangladesh through fundraising. Our boxers combine their efforts inside and outside of the ring to raise over $250,000 annually for Holy Cross missions. I invite all those interested in boxing or committed to Holy Cross’s ministries in Bangladesh to visit our website, bengalbouts.nd.edu, to find more information on how to purchase tickets. If you are unable to make the tournament, you can still support our fundraising efforts by donating to our fundraising website by clicking here. If you’d like to directly support my fundraising efforts, select “Creed Leathers” from the “Bengal Fundraiser” drop-down after filling out your information. This year, I’m trying to raise $10,000, and every dollar helps. Thank you for your continued support and encouragement!
With gratitude, Creed Leathers President, Notre Dame Men’s Boxing Club, 2024-25 |
