On Sunday, June 14, the Vocation Ministry of the Congregation of Holy Cross in Peru participated in Vive 2026. Organized by the Youth Ministry of the Diocese of Chosica, the one-day event marked 30 years of the diocese and was attended by hundreds of teenagers and young adults who came for a day filled with concerts and performances, spiritual activities (such as Mass, Adoration, and dedicated time for personal reflection), community-building events, and a vocational fair.
At the vocational fair, the Congregation’s booth was staffed by local Holy Cross priests and brothers who were joined by two men from Moreau Seminary and Scholasticate in Notre Dame, Indiana. Br. Anthony Terrones, C.S.C., manned the booth and was accompanied by Br. Yocimar Pacherres, C.S.C., Br. Benjamin Sasin, C.S.C. (US), seminarian Matthew Heeder, C.S.C. (US), and Rev. José Luis Tineo, C.S.C.
It was a valuable opportunity to share the charism and spirituality of the Congregation of Holy Cross with young people, and to invite them to embark on the path of vocational discernment.
Please join us in praying for all those who are discerning religious vocation, and for our men as they continue to share the beauty of their calling with others.
