Fe y Alegría no. 25 Reflects on Campus Ministry 2023

As a Catholic school sponsored by the Congregation of Holy Cross in Lima, Peru, Fe y Alegría no. 25 aims not only to educate the students but also provide parents with solid training in Christian values. This provides comprehensive formation for the parents and enables them to be the primary educators of their children’s faith.
Throughout the year, Fe y Alegría no. 25 hosted “Escuelas de Padres” where 60+ parents heard talks focused on how they can be great parents for their children. The school also hosted twelve “Encuentros Padres y Hijos”, in which parents meet together with their children. In these “encuentros”, parents interact with their children and they both help one another express their feelings and emotions in a healthy way.
Fe y Alegría no. 25 also hosted a retreat for upper-level students in the primary school and a retreat for high school students focused on God’s love and their identity as a child of God.
Through the generosity of benefactors, Fe y Alegría no. 25 continues to provide impactful campus ministry programming for their students and parents. Funds received through the Holy Cross Mission Center help support teacher salaries, education materials, workshop and retreat costs, transportation, and office supplies.
