The Holy Cross Mission Center partnered with Dr. Chris Haug and all eight of the U.S. Province’s grade schools this past February 1st for a Catholic Schools Week Prayer Service. Director Fr. Tom Eckert, C.S.C., spoke about the “great band of men” that came before him in the Congregation. Expanding on that, Assistant Director for Community Engagement Michael Jezewak introduced students to Servant of God Theotonius Amal Ganguly (C.S.C.), the only Bangladeshi currently on the path to canonization. To pair with this presentation, all 2300+ students, faculty, and staff received an HCMC pen, sticker, and Ganguly impact card. Teachers were given the opportunity to expand on the presentation with the help of a lesson plan on Ganguly titled, “Identities in Christ.”
