On May 24, 2026, Parroquia El Señor de la Esperanza (Lord of Hope Parish), a Holy Cross parish with a population of over 300,000, held its 2026 Pentecost Vigil at the Father David Farrell, C.S.C., Coliseum of the Colegio Fe y Alegría no. 25 school. The celebration brought together young and old from the parish’s 18 chapels, its youth ministries, and the school.
The day was marked by moments of prayer, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, reflections on the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and concerts.
Additionally, the Province’s Vocations Ministry participated in a vocational fair held as part of the Pentecost Vigil celebration. Br. Anthony Terrones, C.S.C., Director of Vocations, staffed a booth where he shared information about the charism and mission of the Congregation of Holy Cross with attendees. The ministry’s presence offered young people an opportunity to learn about different vocational paths and to reflect on God’s call in their lives.
