As part of the Congregation of Holy Cross’ current Year of Mission (April 28, 2025, to April 28, 2026), the Congregation’s Commission for Mission and Commission for Consecrated Life and Heritage have been working together to offer a webinar series which explores the Congregation’s mission and charism as well as the Year of Mission theme, Hope Beyond Borders.
In collaboration with Holy Cross Family Ministries, the November offering in the Year of Mission Webinar Series focused on “Mission Among Families Today.” There was a trio of presenters. Fr. Fred Jenga (EA), President, spoke on “The Family as the Seedbed of Faith and Mission: Lessons from the Global South.” Fr. Willy Raymond (US), President Emeritus, presented on “Fr. Peyton’s Vision Reimagined: Evangelizing the Modern Family through Prayer and Media.” And Fr. Pinto Paul (NE), International Director, addressed “Family Ministry as a Core Element of Holy Cross Mission: A Global Call.”
