Yancana Huasy Celebrates 44th Anniversary

On October 17, Yancana Huasy celebrated its 44th anniversary as part of the Jubilee for Persons with Disabilities. The event took place at Yancana Huasy and at the Latin American Martyrs Pastoral Center of the El Señor de la Esperanza Parish.

In honor of the occasion, a Mass was held, presided over by Bishop Jorge Izaguirre, C.S.C., along with priests Fr. Aníbal Niño, C.S.C., Fr. Juan Phalen, C.S.C., Fr. Víctor García Teresa, and Fr. Frank Aricoché Acuña. Workers, families, and students from the CEBE Señor de la Esperanza and PRITE Hermano Andrés schools participated.

During the celebration, those who had been part of Yancana Huasy’s journey were remembered. The current teams were also thanked for their commitment and dedication. The day culminated with dances and performances by the children and mothers, filling the air with joy and hope.
