On May 3, 2026, the educational community of Colegio Fe y Alegría no. 25 in Peru celebrated the traditional Fiesta de las Cruces (Festival of the Crosses, also known as “May Crosses” or Cruz de Mayo), a faith-centered day that brought together students, teachers, families, and members of the school pastoral team. The festival features colorfully decorated crosses often adorned with fresh flowers, plants, and ribbons.

The school’s celebration was led by Rev. Jorge Mallea, C.S.C., Rev. José Luis Tineo, C.S.C., and Sister Esmeralda Camacho, C.S.C. Through moments of prayer, song, and cultural expressions, the celebration strengthened Christian identity and fostered a sense of community among the participants.
